This policy explains what information Speranza Consulting and Investments (“SCI,” “we,” “us”) collects when you visit speranzaconsulting.com, why we collect it, and who else can see it. It covers this website only. It does not cover the individual Goddard Schools we operate, which are subject to their own policies and to The Goddard School’s.
In short: Only what you type into our contact form: name, email, telephone, and your message. Your contact details are kept; the message stays in email.
This website has one way to send us information: the contact form on our Contact, Free Consultation, and campaign pages. It asks for four things, and all four are required:
We ask for these so we can reply to you. We do not ask for financial information, government identifiers, or any of the categories that laws treat as sensitive, and you should not send them through this form.
Where it goes. Submissions are delivered to us as email. This website itself has no database and stores nothing you type — the message lives in our email inboxes.
We also keep a contact record. Your name, email address, and telephone number are saved in our email provider’s contact list so we can keep track of who has been in touch and follow up properly. The text of your message is not stored there. This record is for our own enquiry handling — it is not a mailing list, and we do not send marketing to it. You can ask us to delete it at any time; see section 8.
One exception, stated plainly. Our educator-to-owner page is for people asking about a specific Goddard School. Messages from that page are delivered to that school’s inbox as well as to SCI. Every other page’s submissions come only to SCI.
In short: Standard visit data, plus Google Analytics — which does not load until you interact with the page.
Like nearly every website, ours records basic technical information when a page loads: the pages you view, the approximate region you are in, your browser and device type, and the site that referred you. This is used to understand which pages are useful and to keep the site working.
Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4. It sets cookies in your browser and sends Google information about your visit, including a randomly generated identifier, your approximate location derived from your IP address, and the pages you open. We use it to see which articles people read and where visitors come from. We do not use it to identify you personally, and we have not enabled Google’s advertising or remarketing features.
Google Analytics on this site is deliberately not loaded until you scroll, tap, move your pointer, or type — or after five seconds, whichever comes first. If you leave immediately without interacting, it typically never loads at all.
Spam protection. Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people apart from automated scripts. It receives technical signals from your browser to make that judgment. It does not read what you type into the form.
In short: We do not sell your information. It goes only to the providers that run this website.
We do not sell your personal information, and we never have. We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. We share it only with the service providers who make this website work, and only so they can perform that work:
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
In short: One Facebook video, on the Investments page, which loads only if you scroll to it.
Our Investments page includes a video hosted by Facebook. If you scroll far enough to reach it, Facebook can receive information about your visit and may set its own cookies, under Facebook’s policies rather than ours. The video is deliberately not loaded until you scroll to it, so visitors who never reach it are not exposed to it.
Our site also links to other websites, including LinkedIn and X. We are not responsible for what those sites do with your information.
In short: Enquiries stay in our inboxes; analytics data is deleted by Google after 14 months.
Enquiries arrive as email and are kept in our business inboxes, and the contact record in section 1 is kept alongside them, for as long as we may reasonably need them for the relationship — typically no longer than seven years, in line with ordinary business record-keeping. Google Analytics data is retained on Google’s systems for 14 months and then deleted automatically.
You can ask us to delete your enquiry sooner. See section 8.
In short: Encrypted connection throughout. Please do not send confidential financial details.
This website is served entirely over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and form submissions are transmitted encrypted. Inbox addresses for routed submissions are held in server-side configuration, never in the page, so they cannot be read or altered by anyone visiting the site.
No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send confidential financial information through this form.
In short: You can ask what we hold, correct it, or have it deleted — wherever you live.
Whatever state or country you are in, you may ask us to do any of the following. There is no charge, and we will not treat you differently for asking.
We will respond within 30 days. If we need longer for a complicated request, we will tell you why before that deadline passes. Email us at info@speranzaconsulting.com. So we send your information to the right person, please write from the email address you originally contacted us with, or tell us enough to identify your enquiry.
California residents. California law gives residents specific rights to know what personal information is collected, to have it deleted, to correct it, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. As stated above, we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by California law, and we have not done so in the preceding twelve months. The only categories we collect are identifiers (your name, email address, and telephone number), the content of your message, and internet activity information (the pages you view). To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in section 13.
Other US states. Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, and a growing number of other states give residents comparable rights to access, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of their personal information, and to appeal a refusal. We extend those same rights to every visitor regardless of state, so you do not need to tell us where you live in order to make a request.
Visitors from the EU or UK. If you are in a jurisdiction with data protection law of that kind, you may also have rights to object to processing, to restrict it, and to receive a copy of your information in portable form. Contact us and we will honour those requests.
In short: There is no agreed standard, so we do not act on them. Use the opt-outs in section 3 instead.
Some browsers can send a “Do Not Track” signal. No common standard has ever been agreed for what a website should do when it receives one, so — like most sites — we do not respond to it. We would rather say that plainly than imply a protection we do not provide.
The opt-out methods in section 3 do work, and we honour requests made directly to us under section 8.
In short: In the United States. If you write to us from abroad, your information comes here.
We are a United States company and our service providers process information on servers in the United States. If you contact us from outside the US, the information you send is transferred here and handled under US law, which may offer different protections from the law where you live.
We do not have offices or operations outside the United States, and we do not transfer enquiries onward to other countries.
In short: This site is for adults in business. We do not knowingly collect from under-13s.
This website is written for prospective franchise owners, investors, and business partners. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information through this site, contact us and we will delete it.
Information about children enrolled at a Goddard School is handled by that school under its own policies, not through this website.
In short: We update this page and change the date. Material changes are described, not silent.
If we change what we collect or who receives it, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes will be described here rather than made silently.
In short: Reach us by email, post, or telephone.
